The detail
Built for leasing & finance
For independent brokers, small lessors, and equipment finance teams. LOJIK finds where time goes in applications, funding packages, status calls, and follow-up. Then we build the fixes that give it back. We work with the software you already use, or the spreadsheets you use today.
What each fix includes
Deals entered once, records stay matched
Your deals live in one place: lease software or a master spreadsheet. But accounting, your customer list, and the document folder each keep their own copy. Your team types every funded deal into each one. The copies drift apart until someone matches them by hand.
- Write down where a deal's details go today: which tools, which details, and who types them again
- Set up your main deal records to update the other tools on their own, with a readable record of every change
- A person still approves any change to money or customer records
- Hand over the instructions, logins, and alerts, so you own the connection
Every application in one place
Applications arrive as email attachments, website downloads, and phone notes. Each one is typed into the spreadsheet before anyone can work on it. In a busy week, some sit untouched in the inbox.
- List every way an application arrives, and what your team types where
- Set it up so each application becomes a deal record, with the original document attached
- Give every file a person in charge, so nothing sits unnoticed
- Hand over written rules for how details are read from documents, so you can add to them
Funding packages ready before funding day
Every funded deal needs the same set of documents, and your team puts it together by hand. They chase the missing insurance certificate, rename the PDFs, and file the signed copies. Each chasing email is written by hand. A missing document turns up at funding, not before.
- Write down the document checklist for each type of deal: what's needed, from whom, and by when
- Set up automatic requests and reminders from that checklist, with documents filed where you already keep them
- Show what each file is missing before funding day, not on it
- Build in how long documents are kept, and a record of every step, from the start
Consistent quotes from your rate sheets
Payment quotes are worked out by the one person who knows the lender rate sheets: the terms, the residuals, and the exceptions. When that person is busy, quotes wait and customers lose interest.
- Write down the rate sheets and how you quote: what goes in, terms, margins, and exceptions
- Set up quoting so those rules give the same payment quote every time
- Send the deals that need judgment to a person, where everyone can see it
- Make updating a rate sheet one step, not a rebuild
Brokers and customers check status themselves
"Where's my deal?" comes in by phone and email. Someone stops what they're doing, looks it up, and types the same answer as yesterday. Your team has become the status page.
- Decide what each person may see: brokers, customers, and lenders each see different parts
- Build a view-only status page from your deal records, with a sign-in that doesn't leave you managing passwords
- Send the updates people now call to ask for, automatically
- Hand over written rules for who can see what
Every file followed up for you
Approvals expire, quotes go quiet, and invoices get old. Every follow-up depends on someone remembering. The awkward email gets put off, and so does the funding or the money.
- Decide how to follow up on quiet quotes, expiring approvals, and old invoices: tone, timing, and when to call
- Send the reminders automatically, based on your deal and invoice records
- Flag the files that need a phone call, not another email
Should you buy software or build?
Somewhere between the spreadsheet that still works and the all-in-one software your team keeps looking at, there's a right answer. From these answers alone, we can't honestly name it. That's a finding, not a failure.
- A guided walk through how deals really move today, from application to funding to collections
- A first written plan: what ready-made software would solve, what it wouldn't, and what LOJIK would build either way
- A fixed price for the first fix, or honest advice to buy an existing tool instead
How your tools fit together
How your lease tools connect
Updates move, with a record of each one, between the software that holds your deals and your other tools: accounting, customer list, and documents. All-in-one equipment finance software covers its own ground well. Leasepath, part of Solifi since 2025, bundles a customer list, new deals, lease management, and customer websites. It comes with ready-made links for credit, ID, and payments (vendor documentation, 2025). LOJIK builds the links that software doesn't. A person approves any change to money or customer records.
- A link to your main deal software: a built-in connection, or exports and file drops where that's all there is
- Automatic updates; if one fails, it's retried and flagged
- A record of every change you can read
- A person approves changes to money and customer records
Applications in one place
Every way an application arrives, gathered into one list. The original document is attached, the details are read out for a person to check, and every file has someone in charge.
- Applications gathered from email, PDF forms, and web forms
- Details read from each document, checked by a person before the record is trusted
- Duplicates of existing deals caught
- A person in charge of each file, with reply times shown
Funding documents, collected and filed
The document checklist for each type of deal, run for you. Requests and reminders go out on their own, in wording you approved. Documents are filed where you already keep them, and gaps show up before funding day. How long documents are kept, and a record of every step, are built in from the start.
- A checklist for each type of deal
- Automatic requests and reminders, in wording you approved
- Filing into the storage you already use
- Rules for how long documents are kept, and a record of every step
Your rate sheets, applied every time
Lender rate sheets and your quoting rules, written down so the software follows them, with every change kept. Payment quotes stay consistent, and exceptions go to a person. This prices deals; it does not submit them or decide credit. Sending deals to several lenders and tracking them is already sold as software, such as Centrex (vendor documentation, 2025). LOJIK works around those tools rather than rebuilding them.
- Rate sheets written down with you, in plain words, with every change kept
- Quoting that gives consistent payment quotes
- Exceptions sent to a named person
- Rate-sheet updates in one step
Deal status brokers can check
A view-only page of your deal records for the people who now call to ask. Brokers and customers each see only their own deals, and get a message when the status changes.
- View-only pages from your main deal software
- Rules for who sees what
- Sign-in without you managing passwords
- Status-change messages, in your wording
Questions
Asked and answered.
We already use equipment finance software. Is there anything left to build?
Usually the gaps between tools. Your software covers its own ground. The retyping tends to happen between it and accounting, your customer list, the document folder, and the people who call for status. We build those links. We don't rebuild what your software already does.
We run on spreadsheets and email. Do we need to buy software before automating?
No. We can improve how the work gets done with what you already use. If buying software is the better answer, your plan will say so instead of recommending we build it for you.
Do you touch credit decisions?
No. Credit policy, approvals, and lender relationships stay with you. We move information and documents around those decisions. A person approves any change to money or customer records.
When do we get a price?
After a person at LOJIK reviews your plan and confirms the fix is a good fit. You then get what's included, the timeline and the price to approve.
Who owns what you build?
When we hand it over, your team can receive the code, logins, instructions, and the job of running it. If you want LOJIK to run it for you, that support is agreed separately before launch.
