A problem to describe
Who can help me finish a software project that stalled?
A developer or studio that starts by reading what already exists, then tells you in writing what is done, what is not, and what it would take to finish. Starting over is not the default. The first step is an honest review of the current state, and you can ask for that before you agree to anything else.
Why projects stall
The reasons are usually plain: the person who wrote it left, the scope grew without a new price, the money ran out before the last part, or nobody agreed on what done meant. Which one it was decides what to do next, so find out before you hire anyone.
What to gather first
- Whatever code exists, and where it lives.
- Access to the accounts it runs on: hosting, domain, database, email and payment services. If any are in someone else's name, say so.
- The original scope, messages or notes about what it was meant to do.
- A rough list of what works today and what does not.
Finish it or start over
Finishing is usually quicker when the parts that exist do their job and a new person can read them. Starting over is usually better when nobody can run the code, the way it stores data does not fit the business, or the pieces cannot be fixed one at a time. A reviewer should tell you which case you are in and show the evidence.
How LOJIK helps
Tell LOJIK what you want to achieve, what already works and where it is stuck. A person at LOJIK looks at what exists and proposes how to finish it before any work starts. If the situation is unclear, the Workflow Review is for that: one week, ending in a written recommendation.
When LOJIK is not the right fit
LOJIK is probably not the right choice if:
- You cannot share access to the code or to the accounts it runs on. Nobody can review what they cannot see.
- The original builder is still active and the missing piece is small. Ask them first.
- You need a finish date promised before anyone has looked at the work.
- You want extra hands inside an engineering team you already run.
What working with LOJIK costs
Start with a free plan on screen. A person then sends a price set for your business, and nothing starts until you approve it in writing.
The plan: free
Describe the problem and the plan fills in as you answer: the fix, what it includes and how long it takes.
Workflow Review: USD 1,500
For when you are not sure what to fix. One week on one task, ending in a written recommendation: build the fix, change how the work is done instead, or stop. If you go ahead with the fix within 30 days, the full fee counts toward its price.
Sprint: from USD 5,000
A scoped, priced, finished system built around how your business works. A person sets the price after reading your plan and gives the reason for each line.
Operate (we run it for you): a monthly plan per live workflow
LOJIK keeps the finished system online, watched and fixed, with small changes included. Optional, and you can cancel any month.
Prices are in US dollars. Companies in Mexico pay IVA on top.

Questions
Do I have to start over?
Not by default. A review comes first, and it should tell you in writing which parts hold up, which do not, and what finishing would take.
What if the person who built it is gone?
You can still have it reviewed if you have the code and the accounts. If the accounts are in their name, the first job is moving them into yours.
How long does a first review take?
The Workflow Review takes one week and covers one task.
How much does LOJIK cost?
The plan is free. A Workflow Review is USD 1,500, and the full fee counts toward the fix if you go ahead within 30 days. A Sprint starts at USD 5,000. Operate, where LOJIK runs the system for you, is a monthly plan per live workflow. A person sets the final price for your business, and you approve it in writing before anything starts.

It takes about 3 minutes on screen, and a person at LOJIK reads it before any price.
